The background of BVJ's founder, Bruce A. Bednarski, is varied and diverse and includes working as a Principal Software Engineer for Digital Equipment Corporation developing test packages, regression test and test procedures in Bliss and PL/1 and exercise them to test the Digital's first dual processor computer, the VAX 11/782.
The purpose of which was to discover errors, problems, and limitations on the high availability features of VAX/VMS and the VAX 11/782, communicate the results back to the developers to assist them in improving the quality of Digital's systems and software thus reducing the number of customer problem reports and enhancing the customers' view of Digital's products.
PDP-11s were used to emulate remote terminal access to the VAX 11/782.
